She currently lives in New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College and became an actor before. Chando performed the role of Maddie Coleman, the lead character in As the World turns from 2005 through 2007, and then returned to this role for a length of time starting in 2009. Alexandra began her career in acting on the TV series House Blend in which she played Jenna Harper. As the World Turns was the American soap opera for television which CBS aired during three consecutive seasons. Maddie Coleman played the character. Chando first appeared on TV in True life (an American documentary) late in 2009. Then, in 2009, she appeared in Sherri, a TV show. Moreover, she starred in two episodes of the American comedy-drama television show Glory Daze as Annabelle. Also, she has credits on Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
