Bashar Barakah (July 19 1999 - Feb. 19, 2020), professionally known as Pop Smoke was an American rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide, Republic Records and Bashar Barakah Jackson were his recording labels. Pop Smoke's popularity grew as he worked alongside UK producer of drill 808Melo Axl Beats (UK) and Yoz Beatz (UK). Welcome to the Party was the debut single off his mixtape debut Meet the Woo, which came out in July 2019. Two remixes were made of the track Welcome to the Party in August 2019 with American rapper Nicki Minaj and British Rapper Skepta. Pop Smoke's most popular song Welcome to the Party was made available in April, 2019. The song is the debut single off his mixtape debut Meet the Woo. Later, in August 2019, two remixes of the track were released. The first remix featured Nicki Minaj while the second included Skepta. The song was noted by its use in UK drill production that was later seen in his discography. It is because of his numerous collaborations as well as 808Melo (a British drill production company).
